Adding your fees to your cost and then adding profit gives a price that is too low. The right formula divides.
The formula
price = (cost + shipping + fixed fees) / (1 - fee % - tax % - target margin %)
Example with made-up numbers
Cost 10, shipping 0, no fixed fee, marketplace fees 13%, tax 3%, target margin 20%: price = 10 / (1 - 0.13 - 0.03 - 0.20) = 10 / 0.64 = 15.63. Adding 36% on top of cost would give 13.60 and a margin below 20%.
